FightLite® Announces Sponsorship of Shooting Sports Showcase 2023

MELBOURNE, Fla. – FightLite® Industries, a division of ARES Defense Systems, Inc., announced its support for the 2023 Shooting Sports Expo at CMP Marksmanship Park in Talladega, AL on March 28.

Founded in 1997 by gun designer and avid shooting enthusiast Geoffrey A. Herring, FightLite® specializes in creating and building lightweight, technically advanced firearms and accessories for military, law enforcement and civilian shooters. FightLite® dominates the AR15 rifle spectrum with a 50-state legal semi-auto SCR® (Configurable Sport Rifle) on one end and the patented, highly flexible Dual-Feed® MCR® (Mission Configurable Rifle) on the other.

“For more than 25 years, the FightLite® Industries team has designed, licensed or delivered innovative products for the firearms and outdoor markets. As a proud supporter of the outdoor industry, we are pleased to sponsor and participate in this year’s Shooting Sports Showcase. We look forward to giving industry representatives and the media a great experience with our next-generation products,” said company CEO Geoffrey Herring.

FightLite® introduced its exciting new patent-pending 2024 HERRING® Advanced Lever Action Rifle last fall at NASGW in Kansas City and will be exhibiting various configurations of the HERRING® product line at Talladega.

“The technology behind this innovative lever action pistol sets a new standard for lever action rifles and pistols and brings them fully into the 21st century,” Herring said. “The HERRING® Model 2024 is not only as seamlessly modular as any AR-type rifle, but is also user-level convertible to caliber and magazine without tools to accommodate modern, high-velocity, and pointed ammunition in a variety of calibers common to an AR15. The HERRING® 2024 model, in fact, uses standard AR tops, bolts, forends, magazines, etc., with plenty of free floating space for mounting optics, thermals, NVDs, lights, lasers, and other modern functional accessories. ”.

All FightLite® products are exclusively invented, designed and manufactured in the United States of America. For more information on FightLite®, visit For more information and registration links to Showcase, visit
