TrueTimber, the world’s best-selling camo brand, has been announced as the official camo sponsor of the Drury University Bass Fishing Team. Team jerseys, apparel and boats will feature TrueTimber logos and the popular Viper Urban camo pattern as the angler roster sets out to compete in more than 25 events against more than 300 programs nationally in the 2022 season -2023.
“This is an incredible opportunity to get involved and support many young anglers with a lot of raw talent and a hunger to win,” said TrueTimber CEO Rusty Sellars. “Rick is one of those guys that walks the walk and talks the talk in the world of fishing. He has created a truly impressive program at Drury University, and we can’t wait to see the entire team donning the TrueTimber camo.”
The Drury Bass Fishing team finished third in the 2021-2022 ACA National Championship, finishing the season sixth nationally in the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year standings. Head coach Rick Emmitt has guided the program since its inception in 2015 and has led the Panthers to a top-10 national finish for three straight seasons. Emmitt is one of the nation’s preeminent bass fishing experts with over 35 years of experience in the fishing industry.
“We are very excited to partner with TrueTimber for the upcoming season,” said Emmitt. Your support of the fishing industry and our program allows these young anglers to pursue their dreams of fishing to the next level. TrueTimber is the leading camo brand, and the design looks amazing on our new team jerseys. Our goal is to grow the partnership to benefit both parties now and in the future.”
