Mogador, OH. TenPoint Crossbows continues to master crossbow speed, accuracy, and firepower with the fastest compact crossbow the world has ever seen: the NEW Flatline 460.
Engineered to deliver elite performance from the smallest possible space, the Flatline shoots at a blistering 460 feet per second, measures just 26.5″ short, and is equipped with all-new scope struts that provide a solid mount for the scope, providing unmatched durability and precision.
“The Flatline 460 is built for the die-hard hunter – the hunter who walks a little more, sits a little more, and needs to make the most of that split-second opportunity when it presents itself,” said Phil Bednar, CEO. “With its micro footprint, including shorter 16-inch shafts, it offers all the benefits of a low profile without sacrificing speed or accuracy.
At the heart of the Flatline’s speed and power is a patented reverse-draw bow assembly and 14-inch power stroke. By reversing the bow assembly and changing the mounting position of the riser, the string rest position is extended lower on the rail, creating a 47% longer power stroke than a forward-firing crossbow measuring the same length. This higher power hit provides many advantages over front-wheel drive leaf springs:
- Generates top speeds no front-wheel drive leaf spring can match
- Generate more velocity with less tractive force, creating a smoother, quieter shot with less shock and vibration.
- Creates a longer engagement time between the nock and the string during the shot, leading to higher accuracy
In addition, the center-mounted riser provides superior balance, eliminating the “nose-heavy” feel of traditional crossbows and making it easier to hold, increasing shooters’ accuracy.
The RX8-Cam™ system allows for maximum rotation to produce speeds of 460 feet per second with the included 400 grain shaft. The crossbow’s revolutionary Vector-Quad™ cable technology uses four cables instead of the traditional two, eliminating cam droop and generating a straight nock travel that leads to lower-range accuracy in the same bore.
The 16-inch MICRO-TRAC™ barrel reduces string-to-barrel contact by 50% to provide greater accuracy and the longest string life in the industry, outperforming competitive crossbows by hundreds of times. shots.
The ultralight two-piece TEC-TACTICAL™ stock of the Flatline 460 is designed to be comfortable for shooters of all sizes and includes an adjustable butt plate that adjusts 1” to provide an ideal fit.
To complete the compact footprint, the Flatline 460 uses shorter 16-inch EVO-X® CenterPunch™ carbon shafts. The advantages of this arrow extend beyond its compact footprint in the quiver and lack of overhang in the crossbow: the shorter arrow provides a flatter trajectory and reduces wind drift at longer ranges compared to a long-range arrow. 20 inches.
EVO-X CenterPunch 16 arrows weigh 400 grains and have a 17.5% FOC. Each arrow is inspected for straightness to a precision of 0.001 inch and the weight of each bundle is compared to a precision of 1 grain per arrow.
NEW Longer Dovetail (+1.5″) and NEW Scope Struts provide a solid base for scope mounting, leading to increased durability and long-range accuracy. Dual Aluminum Scope Struts increase strength and stiffness by 80%.In addition, the dovetail allows for more reach adjustments, heavier reach options, and provides the strength of a full-length rail without the added weight.
Capable of downrange accuracy out to 100 yards, the included EVO-X® Marksman™ Elite Scope, decked out in matching Veil Alpine™ camo, is a variable-rate scope compatible with crossbows that shoot up to 500 FPS. The scope’s external target turrets provide easy windage and elevation adjustment and drive unmatched long-range accuracy.
The patented ACUslide™ cocking and decocking system features the automatic brake gear system that sets TenPoint apart from all other decocking crossbows on the market. The patented automatic brake eliminates the possibility of losing control during disarming, which can lead to injury or costly bow damage. While cocking and uncocking with the ACUslide, the user can remove their hand from the handle at any point, without further action, and the handle will stop in place. Also, while most crossbow crank cocking devices require more than 15 lbs. of force to operate, the ACUslide requires only 5 lbs. of force, making it easy for people of all ages and abilities to cock the crossbow.
The Flatline 460 features the S1™ trigger. This 2-stage, zero-creep design features an advanced roller-seal system that delivers a consistent, crisp 3.5-pound pull. The trigger is equipped with a DFI (Dry-Fire-Inhibitor) and is fitted with a nylon filament arrow retention brush that improves grip and arrow alignment to reduce noise and vibration. An integrated string stop system is also included to further reduce noise and vibration.
The Flatline 460 is equipped with our Sentry Bowhanger which allows you to easily hang your bow on the bracket or protect your broad nose from dirt and sand on the ground blind.
A dovetail spirit level is also included to help eliminate crossbow “tilt/tilt”, a critical factor in left/right accuracy.
