LDWF offers free seminar on squirrel hunting skills on September 17

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) Hunter Education Section will be holding a free squirrel hunting seminar for beginners on September 17 in Baton Rouge from 9 am to noon at the Louisiana Waddill Wildlife Refuge. LDWF, 4142 North Flannery Rd.

The seminar, Squirrel Hunting 101, will cover the proper equipment needed, firearm selection, rules and regulations, outdoor navigation, and hunting opportunities. It will also include an outdoor teaching session to discuss proper squirrel hunting techniques.
