Chattanooga Shooting Supplies, Inc. (CSSI) donates $20,000 to Walk The Talk America (WTTA)

Chattanooga Shooting Supplies, Inc. (CSSI), an industry leader providing 45,000 SKUs of hunting and shooting-related products to the service of the independent distributor, becomes a WTTA Silver Sponsor.

Walk The Talk America (WTTA), a non-profit organization designed to bridge the gap between the gun industry and gun owners and the mental health industry, is honored to have received a generous $20,000 donation from Chattanooga Shooting Supplies, Inc. (CSSI) and welcomes you as the newest Silver Sponsor of the WTTA.

Mental illness and suicide affect many individuals and families across the country, and that includes within the firearms and 2A community. At CSSI we want to play an active role in helping find meaningful solutions to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health within the gun community. We are honored to support the mission of the WTTA,” said Ron Staffieri, Executive Director of CSSI.

“We are honored by CSSI’s generous donation and support and proudly welcome them as our newest Silver Sponsor,” said Michael Sodini, founder of WTTA. “With each donation, we are able to provide more tools and resources to individuals, businesses and retailers. Our goal is to bring together not only gun industry and mental health resources, but also make them available to all gun owners. Donations like this one from CSSI help support our mission and we couldn’t do what we do without companies like CSSI.”

WTTA, the brainchild of Sodini, a firearms industry veteran, spearheaded a movement within the firearms industry to bridge the gap between mental health and responsible firearms ownership to reduce suicide with firearms and armed violence. Through educational shows, podcasts, and training programs, WTTA is paving the way to educate mental health professionals about gun culture and break negative stigmas around mental health for gun owners. Through its various programs and offerings, such as instructional brochures and slides for firearms instructors, cultural competency classes, and introductory courses at the intersection of guns and mental health, the WTTA is leading the conversation and opening doors in the firearms industry and the mental health industry. .
